L'oreal Collection Star- Pure Rouge (Frieda Pinto) Lipstick review and swatches.

“Beauty, to me, is about being comfortable in your own skin. That, or a kick-ass red lipstick.”
― Gwyneth Paltrow

I guess red lips is an eternal favourite, be it ancient times Cleopatra or 21st century girl, everyone loves a red lip! And I for one, am all about red lips so when L'Oreal launched these babies, it was but natural that my heart would have skipped a beat and you will see just why.

How gorgeous is this lipstick I mean LOOOOOVVVEEEEE!

Moving on from the packaging we have other details too, like the ingredients and the pricing *bomb*

Each lipstick costs a whooping Rs 995! I mean its a thousand bucks *say whaaaaat?!* But but but, te quality and the colour! Oh to the em gee!

Just tell me you won't fall in love with this colour?

This is such a universally flattering shade! It suits me, my mom and another blogger friend and we all are different skin tones *woohoo*

This baby stayed on my lips for 5 hours and survived a meal too, and yes I had a cheeseburst pizza, so you can trust that the staying power is top notch. It has a matte finish but is not at all drying but you still need to apply a lip balm beneath for best results.

Pros:

Packaging
Shade
Staying power
Non-drying
Easily available
Comes in 7 different but beautiful shades

Cons:
A little pricey

Evening soiree

Is it just me or you have a colour too?
A colour which you can say you own. A colour which no matter what makes you look live and pretty? For me those colours are coral and royal blue. They are my colours and when I have nothing to wear, those are the colours I pick up *khi khi khi*
So a while back I had to attend this meet and I had no clue as to what to wear, so yes, I had to wear one of my colour and black, which is everyone's colour! (hello slimming effect!)

Here is what I finally wore. *drumrolls*

I paired a coral knit tshirt with a sheer lacy skirt.

I also added a nude belt and black and nude heels. Just little accents which pull together an outfit.

I also had a pseudo Marylin Monroe moment. If only there was wind. If only.

I also had some earrings on!

Outfit details:
Tshirt: Street shopping
Skirt: Van Heusen
Belt: Westside
Earrings: Tmart
Heels: Enroute

Pink undertones

I know I know I know. I didn't keep my promise and the posts were missing again, but the winters have made me stay in the rajai for all day  long so thy are to blame!
Well I can go on ranting about how much I love my rajai or I could get on with my outfit. I guess I'll choose the latter *surprise surprise!*

In winters I tend to or rather love to stick to neutrals bt since I have started fashion blogging, I have started to experiment, A LOT!
So to brighten up this black-grey outfit I added this neon pink tshirt.

And the reflectors just added in the fun quotient! *yaay*

I also wore my jeggings high waist for the first time! *woohoo*

My accessories for the day were a handbag, neon pink ring and a golden chain.

And my skyscrapers obviously!

Outfit details:
Top: street shopping
Jacket: USPA
Jeggings: Zara
Heels: Stilettos
Chains: koovs.con
Ring: jabong.com
